Academy central midfielder Andre Trenton has clearly been learning from his manager as the player inspired Kent to a win on Wednesday afternoon.
He played the full 90 minutes in the middle of the park for the Kent FA U18 representative side against their Hertfordshire counterparts and notched a hat-trick of assists as he helped his team to a 3-1 win and was also named man of the match.
Academy manager Daryl McMahon was delighted with his midfield protégé, telling FleetOnline: “This was a great performance at a really decent level. And not only did he have a hand in every goal and win man of the match, but he was playing a year above his age band for the U18 side, which at this early stage of football development really is no mean feat.”
