The funeral for Alan Bond has been confirmed as 10am at Thamesview Crematorium this Friday, 24th July.
The hearse is scheduled to leave the football ground at around 9am on Friday morning and it is estimated the funeral party will be back at the club by 11.30-12.00. Anyone wishing to attend the crematorium service and/or a celebration of Bondy’s life back at the club is most welcome to attend.
If anyone wishes to make a charitable donation in Alan’s memory, his preferred charity Diabetes UK is the one chosen on his behalf. Online donations can be made here.
Alan, a well-loved figure at the Fleet (pictured above, second from left, alongside Maurice Cox, Jimmy Jackson and Harry Houckham), passed away in June and his tribute can be viewed here.
