A Cray away day for Trophy!

The Fleet will travel to Bromley’s Hayes Lane to take on Cray Wanderers in the Second Round of the Buildbase FA Trophy following the draw at FA headquarters earlier this afternoon.

It will be something of a reunion for a few ex-Fleet players, with Cray managed by Danny Kedwell and including Andy Drury, Anthony Cook and Marvin McCoy amongst their squad. Other current Cray players who Fleet have come up against in the past include Dean Beckwith (Sutton, Eastleigh), Chris Dickson (Dartford, Chelmsford), Adam Coombes (Welling) and Jai Reason (Eastleigh, Maidstone, Billericay Town).

It will be Fleet’s second Isthmian Premier opposition this season, having beaten Carshalton Athletic in the Emirates FA Cup.

Cray are currently 18th in the Isthmian Premier and defeated Bedfont Sports in the previous round of the Trophy, having also seen off Kings Langley in an earlier round.

Although they groundshare with Bromley, the Ravens are away to Wrexham that weekend, so ensuring the game will take place on Saturday, November 27th at 3pm.

The winning club receives £3,750 and the losing club £1,000.
