Ebbsfleet United would like to express its sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Marion Fordred who was a well-known member of staff who worked in the club offices for more than 10 years through the 1970s. She passed away last Friday.

Her two sons are lifelong followers of the Fleet, as is her husband David who is now in his 90s. The family have fond memories of growing up around Stonebridge Road and popping into work with their mum when she worked for the club. Her wider family also included former striker Chris Fordred, who played for us in the early Nineties.  

Marion loved her time at the club and always spoke about it with great fondness. We send our very best wishes to David and her two sons at this difficult time.
