Vokins in for Fleet

Former England youth international Jake Vokins has made the move to the Morrow Stadium as Fleet secured the left-sided defender for the 2026/27 campaign.

Aged 26, Vokins has spent the past two years in the National League with Eastleigh and made Premier League appearances for Southampton in his younger days.

A left-back/left wing-back born in Oxfordshire, he came through Southampton’s academy system to earn a professional deal, turning out against Brighton and Arsenal in the Premier League and scoring on his senior debut against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup. After a spell on loan with Sunderland, he moved north of the border with Ross County in the SPL where he played alongside Dom Samuel.

Further loan moves with Woking and Eastleigh were followed by a permanent switch to the Silverlake Stadium at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, where Vokins played in the Spitfires’ 1-0 win here at the Fleet.

He has represented England some 16 times from U17-U19 level, playing in the Three Lions’ U17 European Championship Final against Spain in 2017.
