Ebbsfleet United can today announce the acquisition of highly rated centre-back Camron Gbadebo.

The 23-year-old was a Manchester City signing aged 17 when he moved from Leicester City in 2020. After two years at the Etihad, he gained senior experience with Wingate & Finchley, Marske United and Workington.

A composed, commanding and strong defender, his big break at this level came with a move to Eastbourne Borough where he was part of the Sports side that achieved a third-place finish in 2024/25 with one of the best defensive records in the division.

After helping Eastbourne to the play-off semi-finals, he made a mid-season move to Salisbury last December where he played against the Fleet in our draw there in February. He helped the Whites to 10 clean sheets in his four months at the Ray Mac Stadium and he ended the season having made 38 appearances in all.

Noted for his defensive consistency and passing abilities that have alerted many to his talents as one of the best young centre-backs in the National South, the 6ft 3in player joins the Fleet following the expiry of his deal at Salisbury.
