Latest Weather update

Following last night’s rainfall and the vertidraining of the pitch yesterday, our club operations team have this morning checked on the current condition of the Kuflink Stadium surface.

We are pleased to report that the pitch is in a good condition with light rain forecast for the day ahead.

Our ground staff will continue to work throughout the day and should there be any further need for updates ahead of matchday, we will of course provide those immediately so all supporters can be kept fully informed. (Updated Friday, 12.30pm)

Thursday update
The BBC and Met Office are reporting rain and slightly warmer temperatures on Friday, albeit heavier rain and sleet for most of the day. If conditions require an inspection on Saturday morning or any clearing of snow from the pitch, the club will update supporters of both clubs by Friday evening.

Today (Thursday) the pitch was vertidrained in aniticipation of Storm Goretti, which we will continue to monitor closely over the next day or two.

We are in close contact with Forest Green Rovers and as previously communicated on social media, timely updates for both our own supporters and our visitors at the earliest opportunity is our priority ahead of Saturday’s game.
