After the win over Dorking, Fleet lost that momentum at Enfield as the hosts scored two early goals and a third at the beginning of the second-half to take all three points.
Four changes which included the injured Jamie Fielding sitting this out saw Ben Coker, Ronny Nelson, Toby Edser and Josh Coley into action from the start.
And a strong start from the Fleet saw Tom Dallison head over from a good position inside the first two minutes, with Charlie Seaman and Ben Chapman getting forward. But that start was quickly cancelled out as Enfield took the lead on four minutes. It came from Tosh Gallimore who connected sweetly with the ball and he sent a fierce 25-yard drive fizzing past Gio Bellagambi.

Fleet’s defensive woes continued when Dallison went off injured after only 17 minutes, to be replaced by Maxx Manktelow, but they kept testing their hosts, especially when Chapman released Toby Edser who twisted his way into the box and his low effort from 10 yards was beaten away.
But Enfield went further ahead on 23 minutes when a corner to the far post was headed back across goal and Lamar Reynolds was able to get a second head to the ball sending it in the reverse direction and into the bottom corner.
Kwesi Appiah tried his luck with a shot that just cleared the bar before a Seaman cross sat up nicely for both the skipper and Josh Coley racing into the six-yard box but Coley could only send it over the bar (pictured below). Chapman went over in the box going for a follow-up shot but the referee played on and Enfield made it into half-time 2-0 up.

Thoughts of a Fleet revival were over minutes into the second-half when Enfield scored a third. An attack from the home side should really have been snuffed out but hesitant defending allowed Reynolds to steal in and fire beyond Bellagambi.
Fleet again enjoyed possession but lived dangerously on occasion as Enfield waited for the space to attack. In one such offensive, the home side twice hit the post before former Fleet academy midfielder Hayden Bullas’s third attempt was diverted off the line.

Appiah had a shot on target saved and was then denied by a harsh offside flag as he got round the goalkeeper and headed for the empty net. Substitute Dom Samuel saw another shot saved and fellow sub Aaron Cosgrave was just inches from turning the loose ball over but that rolled away just past the post.
Enfield hit the post once more before Fleet grabbed a consolation in the final minutes, Chapman sent in a cross for Samuel to steer home his second in as many games. Fleet pushed for a grandstand finish in time added on and had a couple more efforts but it was all too much by that point.
