Ebbsfleet United midfielder Maxx Manktelow will join Folkestone Invicta on loan this weekend for a 28-day period.

The 19-year-old Fleet Academy graduate will join Jay Saunders’ Isthmian Premier side who are due to face Canvey Island, St Albans City, Chatham Town and Whitehawk in the coming weeks, which will provide him with ample opportunity for game time at this key early stage of the campaign.

Manktelow, who became a regular in the first-team setup last season and signed his first professional contract, has played 39 times in total for the Fleet. He scored his first goal at Hartlepool last season and added another this pre-season at Dartford.
