Memorial match v Maidenhead

Fleet’s annual memorial to remember fans, family, friends, players and staff who have passed away will be held at our final home game against Maidenhead United next Saturday, April 26th.

The club introduced the memorial match at the beginning of the 2021/22 season following the Covid lockdown, initially as a means to remember all of our supporters, players, staff and families who had passed away during that time.

It has since become an annual reflection to enable all of us at the club the chance to pay our respects to those who have departed throughout the previous season.

Our matchday programme will once again feature the names of those who have passed away, in addition to all those names submitted to us in previous seasons (so you will not need to resubmit if previously sent) – and they will also be listed on the scoreboard pre-match and at half-time.

If you wish to submit the name of a loved one, family member or friend for inclusion, please send to [email protected] by Wednesday morning, April 23rd. Should you wish to also include a photo and short memorial, do feel free to attach with your email.

As on previous occasions, there will also be a silent reflection ahead of kick-off to mark the occasion.
