We can confirm today Craig Tanner’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent and he will depart the club with our thanks and best wishes.

The 30-year-old signed for the Fleet in the summer of 2021 and has gone on to make 116 appearances in that time. He scored 13 goals and led the assists chart in his first three seasons, helping the club to the promotion final in 2022 and the National League South title the following season.

A former Motherwell, Plymouth Argyle and Reading player, Tanner signed for the Fleet after leaving Aldershot Town and this season has made 11 starts and 10 appearances from the bench in all competitions.
