Maxx Manktelow has signed his first professional contract with the club following his step up from the Fleet’s U19 Academy.

Manktelow, a third-year scholar with the academy having joined the U19s in 2022, made his Fleet debut in the Kent Senior Cup as a substitute against Dartford in February 2023.

The 18-year-old earned his first start in last season’s Kent Senior Cup Final against Maidstone United and he made his National League debut from the bench against Eastleigh in November, following that up with another place in the starting 11 in the Isuzu FA Trophy tie at Sutton (pictured below).

The club would like to congratulate Maxx for his hard work and dedication in earning this opportunity and look forward to seeing him continue to pull on the red shirt in the future.
