Fleet call for Callum

Winger Callum Harriott has been added to Harry Watling’s squad as a permanent signing ahead of today’s Isuzu FA Trophy fixture against Sutton United.

The 30-year-old departed National League leaders York City to return south last month, having appeared against the Fleet in our game there in October.

Born in South London and a former England youth international, Harriott broke through the academy ranks at Charlton Athletic and he spent a total of 13 years at The Valley, five of those in the first-team ranks where he made just shy of 100 appearances in the Championship.

He stayed at that level with Reading, signing for the Royals in 2016 and made further EFL appearances for Gillingham and Colchester United (pictured above), with his career total some 230 games and 38 goals before moving into the National League with Yeovil Town in 2022/23.

The Fleet’s new winger has also been capped by Guyana a total of 9 times since 2019.

We welcome Callum to the club and you can sponsor our new man by contacting [email protected] or calling us on 01474 533796.
