Ebbsfleet United have signed trialist Elijah Anthony on a development deal ahead of the new season.
The highly promising 20-year-old former QPR academy wide player joins from Beaconsfield Town. To assist in his development, the Fleet will be securing a loan agreement with a club at an appropriate level for him to gain more senior experience.
Anthony has featured in most of the pre-season games through July, wearing the number 35 shirt.
The new arrival who plays mainly as a left-sided wing back, rose through QPR’s academy having joined aged nine, before gaining U18 and then U21 appearances. He also had senior experience in a three-month loan spell at Waltham Abbey in the Isthmian South Central to add to the season he spent in the Southern League Premier Division South with Beaconsfield, where he played alongside former Fleet winger James Dobson.
