Fleet supporters are being invited to participate in a new initiative in partnership with the Football Supporters’ Association and the ‘Fans for diversity’ programme, with the club proud to announce our involvement in ‘My City, My Shirt’.
The My City, My Shirt campaign has been undertaken by numerous clubs in the country, including Nottingham Forest (example pictured below), Stoke City, Cardiff City, Blackburn Rovers and Bath City.
Ebbsfleet United assistant manager Anwar Uddin, who also holds a position as the FA’s diversity and inclusion manager, has been involved in many of those and now the Fleet are proud and honoured to promote our own club’s diversity and our borough’s rich heritage.
With the arrival of our 2024/25 New Balance home and away shirts in the club shop, we are now inviting you to be a part of the campaign.
My City, My Shirt will see photographs taken of a number of our supporters in different well-known locations in Gravesend and Northfleet with the images intended for use across our social platforms, matchday programme, promotional materials and exhibited around our borough.
The photoshoot will take place on Monday 8th July and Tuesday 9th July with locations and times to be advised nearer the date.
• If you are available and wish to be a part of the My City, My Shirt campaign, please contact [email protected] for further information.
• Supporters who have pre-ordered our new home, away and goalkeepers’ shirts, we are pleased to announce that these are now in the building – buyers can start to collect from this Sunday (3:30pm to 5pm) – when we are also showing the England v Slovakia Euro2024 clash in the Main Stand bar – and then throughout the week after that during office hours.
