All players offered the opportunity to join our Academy do so knowing the programme they sign up to has been specifically designed to incorporate a football and educational element that is paramount to aid their development.

We have a fully comprehensive timetable that incorporates both football and education which has been designed around students’ training and games programme.

Students sign up to a full-time academic programme with course options linked to their GCSE results or alternative academic studies.

Entry requirements are as follows:

• A minimum of three GCSEs Grade A-C or four and above in Maths and English

• A minimum of two ID documents to prove eligibility to be educated in England

• EU Students – an in-date passport, birth certificate or national insurance number.

• Non-EU students – must provide visa documents that state your residency details along with a national insurance number.

First Extended Certificate in Sport (Football)

To be considered for this course, you will need 4 GCSEs at A*/9 – G/3

Recognised qualifications
● Pearson BTEC Level 2 First Extended Certificate in Sport – worth up to 3 GCSEs, and will facilitate entrance to Level 3 study or progression to employment.
● GCSE English and/or Maths ‐ For those who just miss out on a C grade in English and/or Mathematics, we provide tuition to retake these all important qualifications. Essential
for those that want to move on to University.

The curriculum
The NQF Level 2 BTEC Firsts in Sport is traditionally made up of a series of units. During the course you will cover the following subjects:
