Dad supported the club with his time by assisting with managing the teams in the 1970s and installed the original floodlights. He was recognised by the FA in 2010 for his services to football.
Through him my son and I have also followed the club. Although my first visit to the ground was a Reporter Cup Final in which Dad’s team was the losing side!

Brian Day was Chairman of the GNFC Supporters Association as was my dad Ernie East and both organised and worked in the bar.
Sheila worked in the tea bars with my mum Shirley East. Good to see that today the volunteers army is still very much of the club. UTF

Mum worked in the tea bars with Sheila Day during the same period, with my sister Jac helping out as and when.
