The deal with York City for Darius Charles and Michael Gash, as announced on York’s website on Monday morning, has tonight fallen through.

One of the players could not agree terms with the Minstermen and therefore the £80,000 agreed fee for both players – which was dependent on the two of them agreeing terms – has been withdrawn.

As a result and as things stand the club would expect both players to appear for pre-season training as planned on Wednesday July 1.
