Ebbsfleet United are offering exciting opportunities and inviting internship applications for the 2024/25 season for students looking to gain experience in sports media.

This is an ideal opportunity for students taking part in placement years, currently in higher education (ie college or university) or recent graduates looking for hands-on experience at a professional football club.

Successful candidates will help create engaging content leading up to and including matchdays for the Fleet’s men’s and women’s teams. 

Successful candidates will provide media support to either the men’s or women’s teams and will be expected to attend every home match for their respective team. It is expected that the candidate would be available on weekends and evenings as per the fixture schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Live X/Twitter updates throughout the match
• Capture and publish pre-match, post-match and in-match visual content
• Capturing goals and chances throughout the match from pitchside
• Distributing team sheets to media and hospitality guests
• Creating engaging content through platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X/Twitter
• Ensuring visiting media staff are positioned in correct allocated areas
• Creating content for official matchday programme 
• Controlling the scoreboard during home matches
• Photography 

Skills we are looking for:

• A strong understanding of social media platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Works well under pressure
• Willing to be ‘hands on’ and bring a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Punctual and reliable
• The ability to work safely and effectively
• A basic understanding of the Adobe suite

Preferable requirements:

• Driving licence
