Fleet set up Sevenoaks tie

The Fleet will host Sevenoaks Town in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round following the live draw on talkSPORT this afternoon.

Sevenoaks, 17th in the Isthmian League South East (two divisions below the National South), overturned Bath City last Saturday at Twerton Park in a magnificent result for our Kent neighbours.

Town have been impressive in the competition thus far, already beating higher-division opposition as they disposed of Merstham, Kingstonian and Phoenix Sports before they knocked out Bath.

The tie against the Oaks will reunite former Fleet academy graduate Karn Miller-Neave with his old club, the defender having made history here as the fourth-youngest goalscorer in FA Cup history when he found the net against Hythe Town for us back in 2014.

Sevenoaks, managed by Harry Hudson, also include Ryan Gondoh, who played for Hampton & Richmond Borough last season, and former Crystal Palace and FC Eindhoven midfielder Kyle da Silva.

Despite our geographical proximity, we have only played Sevenoaks once previously in a competitive game – that was in 2018/19 when Fleet drew 1-1 and then won 3-1 on penalties at Greatness Park in the Kent Senior Cup.

Prize money for this round rises from £5,625 to £9,375 for the winners and £3,125 each for the losing clubs.

The full draw is available here.
