Ebbsfleet United and Chippenham Town will renew knockout-competition rivalry after we were paired with our fellow Vanarama National League South side in Round 2 of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
It’s a home draw, so the clubs will meet once more at the Kuflink Stadium, as we did for the Emirates FA Cup tie that Chippenham won on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Having also met in the league at Hardenhuish Park last month, where Fleet were victorious by 2-1, this will be the third game between the sides in three months.
The Trophy tie takes place behind closed doors on Tuesday, 15th December with a 7.45pm kick-off. The match will be streamed, details of which will follow.
The draw for the following round was also made, with the winners of the Fleet-Chippenham match travelling to National League Dagenham & Redbridge where Daryl McMahon, Kenny Clark, Myles Weston, Darren McQueen and Dean Rance await should we progress!
There’s a quick turnaround in the Trophy this season with the Round 3 game following immediately after Round 2, the winners playing on Saturday, 19th December at 3pm.
