Two new signings for the Fleet

Garry Hill has added two attacking players to his squad ahead of the 3.00pm kick-off v Aldershot Town.

The first is Botti Biabi, a 23-year-old former Scotland U19 striker who played in the Scottish Championship with Falkirk after coming through Clydebank’s ranks.

He was signed for a six-figure fee by Swansea City in 2015 and spent four years in Wales, earning loan moves to Hamilton Academical and Macclesfield Town in the process, making appearances in the SPL and League Two. Botti will wear the No.22 shirt.

The other player coming in, on a six-month loan deal, is Stevenage frontman Alex Reid.

Also aged 23, the Birmingham-born player is a former Aston Villa and Walsall academy prospect who started out in non-league with Rushall Olympic, where he scored 14 goals in half a season, and Solihull Moors.

Fleetwood Town paid a fee for his services in January 2017 and he went on to feature for Wrexham and Solihull on loan, playing against the Fleet for the Moors in January 2018.

He signed for Stevenage last summer, playing 11 games in League Two before spending the rest of last season on loan with AFC Fylde, scoring in their National League win over Salford City and appearing in the Coasters’ three play-off games, including against Salford at Wembley. He will wear shirt number 23.
