Cheek makes Bromley switch

Fleet striker Michael Cheek has today signed for Bromley after a year at the Kuflink Stadium.

The 27-year-old made the move across the river from Dagenham & Redbridge last summer and ended the 2018/19 campaign as top scorer, shooting 16 goals from 25 starts in the National League, ending the season in sixth place in the division’s scorers’ list.

In all, he played 41 times for the club, 26 of those in the starting lineup, his final appearance ironically coming at Hayes Lane against Bromley.

The club would like to thank Michael for his efforts over the last two years and wish him well for the future.
