The club wishes to clarify one point from Friday night’s meeting relating to the fraud of £150,000 quoted in the notes.

For the avoidance of speculation, EUFC can confirm that it related to a bogus invoice submitted on behalf of the construction contractor responsible for the commencement works on the new main stand.

All current and previous club staff were not involved in any fraud and it related solely to external criminal activity. It was reported to the Police, who immediately commenced an investigation and part of the money involved was recovered.
