Jack Powell’s recent weekend at the England C training camp in Lilleshall did his selection chances no harm with the news that the Fleet midfielder is in the national squad for the forthcoming match v Slovakia.
Powell, who has four club goals this season after scoring on Saturday, broke into the England C side in the summer and appeared in games v Panjab FC and a Jersey FA team. Now he will be looking for a starting place against Slovakia in Zilina on Wednesday, November 8th, for the International Challenge Trophy Final. All of us at the Fleet wish Jack all the best when he pulls on the England shirt once again.
