Ebbsfleet United general manager Dave Archer has been delighted with the take-up from supporters old and new to season-ticket sales ahead of the 2017/18 National League season.
With two weeks of the early-bird campaign still to go, Fleet have passed last year’s total ticket sales and – with a commitment to increase crowds year on year – the good news is that almost 50% of these sales have been to first-time season-ticket holders.
As we reached the end of May, the club had exceeded 350 season-ticket sales, with more than 150 of those going to new season-ticket applications, and the club office has been busy processing new ticket cards for Fleet supporters. “The take-up has been fantastic in the first few weeks of our earlybird campaign,” said Dave Archer. “We’ve been doing a brisk business online and over the counter and it’s testament to what Dr Abdulla, Daryl and the squad are trying to achieve that supporters are backing us even before a ball is kicked in 2017/18.
“We’ve still got two weeks of our earlybird offer to go and I’d like to see our total head towards the 500-mark. We’ve got some mouth-watering home games coming up this season with the Kent derbies, plus the likes of Tranmere, Leyton Orient and Hartlepool coming to Stonebridge Road for the first time ever, and a season-ticket will ensure you see these big, big matches. I’d like to thank all our supporters for their phenomenal support last season with crowds breaking the 2,000-mark four times in a row and if season-ticket sales are anything to go by, it’s clear the Fleet fans are going to continue that level of support into this coming season.”
Adult season tickets can be bought online here while the club office is open weekdays for all other sales.
