Fleet given green light for stand opening

Ebbsfleet United’s new main stand will be open for business for the first time on Saturday with 440 seats made available for the Gosport Borough game.

The entire stand of 1,100 seats will be fully open for the Dartford game on New Year’s Day.

The restricted number of seats is down to unavoidable works continuing and scaffolding having to remain in place in certain areas in the run-up to the New Year.

Supporters are asked to use the Plough End toilets for this match, though temporary toilets will be in place at the Swanscombe End of the new stand in time for the Dartford match.

Entrance to the new stand, which is not complete but has of course been made level and non-hazardous, will be via the turnstiles and accessible from the Plough End as usual. Please observe the safety signs that we have in place under our temporary safety certificate.

Supporters will hopefully be able to get a feel for the various viewing positions over the next few games before we can finalise seat reservations for season-ticket holders through 2017.

The fit-out and completion of the whole stand is set for an April 2017 finish.
