Earlier this week the last of the long rows of terrace steps were broken up and the rubble stacked at the far end of the ground with earthmovers now creating the level areas on which the foundations for the new stand will be set.
The surrounding wall is also down, creating a shallow bank between the pitchside and the remaining earth where the terraces were.
On the pitch, Craig Freeman and his team have been busy sanding in preparation for the re-seeding process to begin, with the current 112×72-yard brown, earthy space set to be transformed into a lush green playing surface by late July.
