Following pitch improvements earlier this week, the works to the new main stand at Stonebridge Road continued apace as the removal process of the back and front sections of the roofing panels began.
Panels on the far section of the Liam Daish Stand (western end) were taken down to show the first visible signs of its impending demolition.
Dismantling of the TV gantry has also begun prior to the middle section of roofing panels being taken down.
Meanwhile, on the pitch, the top surface has now been entirely removed as the new drainage and watering system is to be installed before a new grass pitch replaces the old one.
