Ebbsfleet United are offering free tickets to all local schools, community groups and football clubs for our Community Day match against Chelmsford City on Saturday, 9th April.
The offer is 20 free tickets per group (a minimum of two of those 20 must be used by adults – e.g. parents, teachers and/or coaches). Tickets can be applied for right up to the week of the game. To apply, please phone the club on 01474 533796 or email [email protected].
Plenty of local schools and groups have already taken up our offer to date with more than 500 tickets sent out – and the club is hoping to attract a large attendance. This follows on from our two previous successful Community Days in 2013/14 and 2014/15.
Club director Stuart Butler-Gallie told FleetOnline, “We are looking forward to hosting the local schools and community groups that we expect to take up the offer of free tickets and they will hopefully join in cheering the Fleet on to victory. With help from all our friends to promote this initiative we hope to have more than 2,000 at Stonebridge Road and make it an enjoyable day for all our guests.”
This year’s theme is ‘All the Fun of the Fair’ and to that end there will be children’s rides and numerous traditional fairground stalls. Fleet favourites The No Limit Street Band will be playing outside the Social Club and we’ll have drummers from the African Caribbean Forum performing on the Main Stand terracing. A Bowie tribute band and Maidstone vocal harmony group Vocademy will also be present, together with all our community partners displaying their work in and around our local community over the past year. Food will be provided by the The Bench Café and the Kent African Caribbean Forum.
