The Mitsubishi Electric Burma cycle challenge is well under way with Ebbsfleet United’s Dean Pooley already getting to grips with the conditions.
The Fleet defender and assistant to the general manager is undertaking the 450km bike ride in aid of Save The Children. Having been measured up for their bikes and been discreetly issued with “saddle cream” in modest bottles to apply whenever the need arises, the team have completed their first 192km.
Dean’s not the only one flying the Fleet flag, however, as can be seen from the pictures below, with other riders in his team sporting club colours too!
The running total for Save The Children now stands at £72,673, with Dean’s total at £4,340. You can help add to that total via this link.
