‘Stability is key’, says new boss

New Ebbsfleet United manager Daryl McMahon is keen to shape his squad as soon as possible this close season and is determined to bring success through stability at Stonebridge Road.

McMahon told FleetOnline, “Stability is the key. There have been too many changes in the season just gone and so we need to gather the players we know and add to that in the areas we’ve identified without making a wholesale overhaul again.

“I’ve played with most of the players at the club so I can come in and know our strengths from the start and where that little bit of quality is required.

“I’m really, really looking forward to the challenge and I can’t wait to get it started. I’ve been coaching for a while, I’ve done it here in the Academy and as caretaker, at other clubs like Dagenham and the Tottenham academy and also at Boreham Wood I was assistant manager so I know what it takes, what’s involved and that there’s no underestimating the task. This is an exciting role and I’ll give it my all to bring success to the club and the supporters.”
