Following the success of Operation Oyster in the Second Round of the FA Trophy when the Fleet took some 500 fans to Whitstable, the Club and the Fleet Trust have once again joined forces to take as many Fleet Supporters as possible to the FA Trophy Third Round match against the Hawks of Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday 11th January under the banner of Operation Black Hawk Down. The aim is once again to try and take a minimum of 300 supporters to the match.
Coach fares have again been reduced from the normal £10 to just £5. The coaches will leave at 11.30am from Stonebridge Road. Those wishing to book coach travel should call the club on 01474 533796 or John Burgess at the Fleet Trust on 07951 610878.
Supporters are being urged to wear something red to match the team kit on the day.
Vice Chairman Peter Varney said, ” We want our supporters to give the team the type of backing we had at Whitstable in the last round and to inspire the team to victory. I would urge as many of our supporters as possible to come along to the match wearing something red and let’s have a good club day out and cheer the team into the quarter finals!”
