With both sides having progressed in the FA Cup on Saturday, the path is clear for Tuesday’s Kent Senior Cup Round 2 clash between Sittingbourne and Ebbsfleet United.
The Brickies go into the game off the back of a 2-1 win at Thamesmead Town at the weekend and are two places above Fleet’s Saturday opponents, Folkestone Invicta, in Ryman Division One South. Their cup form is good, a 3-0 win at Chatham Town confirming their place in this round of the Kent Senior Cup, while they also enjoyed a win over Littlehampton Town in the FA Cup.
Fleet have Stacy Long battling against a groin strain while manager Steve Brown may take the opportunity to get further match time for Ben May before his side return to league action next Saturday – and there’s a strong chance Brandon Hall may get the nod ahead of Preston Edwards.
Admission is £8 adults and £4 for concessions. Note that Sittingbourne currently play home games at Woodstock Park and ground directions can be found below.
