Ebbsfleet United U18s beat their counterparts at Eastbourne Town 2-0 in their FA Youth Cup First Qualifying Round tie on the south coast on Thursday.
It marks another win in a competition that the Fleet youngsters have enjoyed in recent seasons – and last year the same opposition were defeated en route to ties against GIllingham and AFC Wimbledon.
It means Fleet advance to the Second Qualifying Round and are home to either Carshalton Athletic or Dartford (whose tie takes place on Friday night). That tie is pencilled in for the week beginning Monday 19th September, with more details to be confirmed.
