The Fleet’s Mini Soccer Club for boys and girls aged between 5 and 7 is run by our very successful Youth Section on Saturday mornings from 10.00 to 11.30am at Elite Venue, Dunkirk Close, Gravesend DA12 5ND
The aim of the ‘Soccer Club’ is for the children to have fun in a safe environment whilst developing their football skills in the critical techniques of:
■Running with the ball
■Changing direction with and without the ball
■Dribbling
■Heading
■Shooting
■Passing and control
Ebbsfleet United Youth Section currently has teams competing in leagues from U8 level to U16 and it is hoped that the children from the ‘Soccer Club’ will progress sufficiently to be able to represent Ebbsfleet United in competitive games. All coaches in the Youth Section are volunteers and they must adhere to the Ebbsfleet United “Code of Conduct for Managers & Coaches”; all our coaching staff are CRB-checked and are required to attend FA coaching courses and the FA Child Protection workshop.
