Ladies 1st take down the eagles

Ebbsfleet United ladies 1st team continue their winning run in the South East Combination league, as a second half goal from striker Rikki Page, was enough to secure the win and the 3 points at the weekend.

Ebbsfleet United reserves faced in form and top of the league Herne Bay Ladies, and narrowly missed out on a draw after a good team performance saw them push Herne Bay to the final minutes before they lost out 3-1. After dominating the second half Fleet deserved at least a point fromthe game, playing a good passing game and working hard to break through but unfortunately the long ball tactic of the away team gained them the final result.
