Fleet Ladies are approaching the new season with anticipation after adding to their squad for the season ahead.
Head Coach Zara Phillips told EUFC.co.uk, “We are delighted with the squad members that we kept and the new additions that have come in this season and we are really looking forward to the league as final preparations are in place.
“You will see a new-look Fleet Ladies this season and a much improved squad. For the first time ever I have a strong squad throughout. I am very pleased with the way our pre season has gone and the competition for every shirt on the pitch is massive.
“The biggest thing I can take out of pre-season is how the ladies have come together and formed a strong team camp. They have a massive challenge this season and I have no doubt that they will grab it as they are all very professional and talented players. Thing are on there way up this year.”
The new home ground for the ladies this season is Rochester United FC – all fixtures and results can be viewed on the ladies’ new website. The pre-season schedule has seen the squad play competitive matches v Tottenham Ladies, West Ham Ladies, Aylesford and Parkwood. The Ladies first team season started on 18th August and their league this year includes QPR, Norwich, Ipswich and MK Dons.
